Gospel in Action The Garden Project
Vision: Work with the feeding centers of Christian Community Church, Leon Nicaragua, providing the necessary food, and thereby showing the love of God for the recipients. Later to plant a church in the community.
Mission: To obtain the vision the following steps need to be achieved:

Evangelio en Acción El Proyecto de Jardín
Visión: Trabajar con los centros de alimentación de la Iglesia Cristiana Comunitaria, León Nicaragua, proporcionando los alimentos necesarios, y mostrando así el amor de Dios por los receptores. Más tarde plantar una iglesia en la comunidad.
Misión: Para obtener la visión se deben lograr los siguientes pasos:
1. Preparar un área segura para plantar, cultivar y cosechar el producto.
2. Instalar un gran tanque de agua para proporcionar agua a la zona del jardín (en lugar de un pozo).
3. Emplear a las personas apropiadas como jardineros (salario). La capacitación será impartida por los agrónomos del Ministerio Shining the Light.
4. Construir una estructura apropiada para los pollos, que proporcionará huevos y carne a los Centros de Alimentación.
5. Proporcionar apoyo económico para los gastos continuos del proyecto (gasolina, materiales, inesperados).
Estaremos agradecidos por cualquier apoyo financiero o ayuda de usted, y esperamos sus respuestas.

- Prepare a secure area for planting, growing, and harvesting the produce.
- Install a large water tank to provide water to the garden area (in place of a well).
- Employ the appropriate people as gardeners (salary). Training will be provided by Shining the Light Ministry agronomists.
- Build an appropriate structure for chickens, which will provide eggs and meat to the Feeding Centers.
- Provide economic support for continuing project expenses (gasoline, materials, incidentals).

Starting with seeds in a seedbed, to planting in small plots, to planting in a huge ministry garden lot, God is allowing LGM, along with Gospel in Action, to use the resources that He is providing to help sustain our families and the people (especially kids) in neighborhoods with substantial needs. Not only is produce from the gardens offered, but education and training, given by our friends at Shining the Light Ministry here in León, is offered to 'grow' gardeners to provide for their own families and communities.
Through our Nica church affiliation with Iglesia Comunidad Cristiano, the produce from our ministry gardens are helping to supply nutritious food to the kids at their feeding program sites. One of which is Monte Horeb, where ICC has several church member families living and planting an outreach.
As the gardens grow and expand in types of produce, more outreach sites of Iglesia Comunidad Cristiano will be reached. We are so excited for this new direction that God is allowing in LGM's scope of ministry. Please pray over Gospel in Action.
